At Petra Jewellery, we’re here to create, repair and restore your jewellery with care and expertise. Here’s how you can help us ensure everything meets your hopes and expectations:
1. SHARE YOUR IDEAS AND INSPIRATIONS
The more information, the better! Tell us what you love and what you’re unsure about. Sharing pictures you’ve found can also help us see your vision clearly. We also want to find out about your lifestyle now and in the future. You helping us to get to know you helps us tailor our advice with aesthetic details as well as technical practicalities.
2. SHARE YOUR NEEDS
We want to look after your logistical, practical, access, privacy and also emotional needs throughout your experience with us, please do let us know how we can best look after you.
3. DON’T WORRY IF YOU’RE UNSURE
We’re here to guide you through the journey. Trust your instincts, be honest about your preferences and communicate openly as we explore options together. If you’re uncertain, we have many ways to help you find what resonates with you the most.
4. YOUR INPUT WITH PRICING
We know you might not have done this before so we’re keen to help you understand why things cost what they do. Sometimes your relationship with cost will evolve as you gain more information. Please do ask questions and give us your budget to take into consideration.
5. YOUR INPUT WITH TIMESCALES
We’ll explain the timeline for the work that we agree to do for you, however if you have any important life events coming up, even if it might seem impossible, let us know, as we love to make magic happen if we can.
6. IF YOU CHANGE YOUR MIND
It's ok if you do; we’ll do our best to adjust what we can, depending on where we are in the process. Once we’ve started working on your piece, changes may impact timelines and costs, but we’ll advise you on this. Occasionally, we may need to adjust the scope ourselves to ensure the best outcome. In both cases we’ll keep you informed throughout.
7. GIVE US HONEST FEEDBACK
We want to continue to be known as Hampshire’s Most Loved Jewellers, we pride ourselves on a culture of continuous reflection and improvement. We strive for excellence and we want to make sure we exceed your expectations. If there’s ever something on your mind, let us know so we can address it and improve.
8. TAKING CARE OF YOUR JEWELLERY
Jewellery should be designed to be cherished, but daily life can take its toll. We’ll advise you on metals, settings, and care to keep your pieces safe. Keep in mind that impact, chemicals, and wear can affect your jewellery, so following our care advice will help it stay beautiful over time.
9. HELP US SHARE THE SPARKLE
We love documenting your stories with us. Often, we’ll create a picture and video record of the whole journey from start to finish and with your permission, share it on social media and even create a photobook for your memories. Please have a chat with your designer about sharing your own images (often the 'big event') to include in this too.
10. SSSSH, IS IT A SECRET?!
We’re great at surprises and have some lovely ideas how to make the gifting of a commission, or surprise refurbishment job, even more special. Please do give us an indication if you need us to support you with this.
