Ever dreamt of designing your very own piece of jewellery and having it made?
Here is your chance!
The Brief:
Design A PIECE OF JEWELLERY that represents ‘love’
Join our FREE After School Jewellery Design Club for top tips from our designers!
The Prizes:
1st prize overall £150 Design & Make Experience* plus Staedtler colour pencil set
1st prize in each age category £30 birthstone voucher plus Staedtler colour pencil set
Runner up in each age category £15 birthstone voucher
Plus, the winning designs will be at Carfest!
Petra Jewellery will create a piece inspired by the overall winner and make a limited collection that will be on sale on our website after lockdown and at CarFest United with proceeds going towards Children In Need.

Winners will be announced over the first week in June 2020 on our social media pages and we will contact your parent/guardian if you’ve won something too!
“Why am I passionate about introducing children to design and manufacture?
As an ambassador for Basingstoke College of Technology, I love the fact through our creative business we get the chance to show people how you can take an idea and turn it into reality. So much in life arrives on the click of a button and this is a special opportunity for children to get ideas straight from their heads onto a piece of paper! We can then show them how their designs are made in our workshop. What they go on to make holds so much sentimental value and love - it’s really beautiful!”
*We will only modify your design where necessary to make sure it is possible to make within an overall material and time budget of £500 RRP

“This is PERFECT for lockdown!
I’m a busy mum trying to keep the house and my business going during this crisis and think this is a really lovely way to entertain families and also give them an insight to how you can take an idea and turn it into reality.
