National Women's Day at the House of Lords
Mitch was invited to the House of Lords last Friday joining 100 female entrepreneurs from across the UK selected for Small Business Britain’s annual iAlso100, a line up of 2025’s most inspirational female entrepreneurs with talks from some industry leaders including Michelle Ovens CBE, Founder of Small Business Britain, Maria Vidler, Chief Customer Officer at Starling Bank, Emma Heal, Managing Director of LuckySaint.
A part of small Business Britian’s f:Entrepreneur campaign, the iAlso100 champions the powerful imapct of female business owners to the UK economy, communities and society. Mitch enjoyed afternoon tea and networking at Westminster, meeting other business owners from across the country, as well as special guests, which included representatives from across Government and the King’s Trust.
“It’s a juggle running a business, growing a team, finding ways to contribute to the community and charities and still showing up for family and friends, but I wouldn’t have it any other way, I love it!”
It was certainly an inspirational occassion!
“Working ‘on’ my business rather than ‘in’ it has opened up so many opportunities to do more with our community: supporting schools and colleges, local charities and sports teams.
A BIG thank you to Jo, Rosie, Abi and Behzad for caring so much about our day-to-day customer work so we can #SharetheSparkle beyond simply the work we do with jewellery.”
