Laurence surprise Claire with a beautiful engagement ring. He chose a modern design from one of our collections and used diamonds from his mother’s engagement ring to make make it completely unique.
“I had the crazy thought that I would like to get married to my long-suffering partner. When thinking about ‘the ring’ I knew a usual high street store would not be keen to use something that I already had into a new design, after talking to some close friends, it became apparent the natural choice was to use Petra Jewellery.
After looking at a few of their styles, I decided I liked two of their pieces and use a diamond I already had. Jo and Mitch listened to what I wanted and the parts that were to be used from my mother’s engagement ring and advised on the best way forward. This resulted to two ring styles being combined and my fiancé now has a ring that is unique and with a lot of family history.”
