NEW! Studio and Client Experience Manager
We’re looking for a warm, commercially minded, systems-orientated person who gains energy from responsibility, loves people and wants to help lead Petra Jewellery through its next chapter.
At Petra Jewellery we create eternal memories through meaningful experiences. From bespoke jewellery commissions and Afternoon Tea Design Experiences, to helping families honour loved ones, our work is deeply personal.
Behind the sparkle sits a surprisingly complex operation. Delivering exceptional experiences requires outstanding project management skills, commercial awareness and the ability to coordinate multiple moving parts; ensuring we deliver on time, on budget and to the high standards we’re known for.
ABOUT PETRA
Petra Jewellery has been #SharingTheSparkle since 1979.
What began with Petra arriving from Germany with her apprenticeship pieces and a small loan from her mother, has evolved into one of Hampshire’s most loved independent jewellers. Today we are a creative studio, workshop and experience-led business built around craftsmanship, relationships and meaningful customer experiences.
We are now entering an exciting next phase of growth and are looking for someone exceptional to help us build a business that runs brilliantly behind the scenes as well as beautifully in front of customers.
THIS IS PROBABLY NOT FOR YOU IF…
You dislike switching between creative, operational and people-focused tasks
You wait to be told what to do next
You prefer highly structured corporate environments
You find responsibility draining rather than energising
THIS ROLE COULD BE PERFECT FOR YOU IF…
You naturally:

Take ownership
Spot problems before they become problems
Enjoy creating order

Communicate proactively
Love people and relationship building
Gain genuine satisfaction from making things happen
You are likely the sort of person colleagues describe as:“safe hands.”
WHAT THE ROLE ACTUALLY INVOLVES
This role blends customer experience, operational leadership, creativity and commercial awareness.
One morning you could be guiding a bespoke jewellery commission; by lunchtime capturing customer stories and content for marketing; later reviewing workflow and production priorities, before supporting an event, networking opportunity or business improvement project later that week.
You’ll help support our manager Jo, strengthen the wider team, improve operational systems and help ensure Petra continues delivering exceptional experiences as we grow.
You do not need a jewellery degree.
You do need warmth, judgement, maturity, emotional resilience and a systems-orientated mindset.
