Sharing the Sparkle at The Pink Place Fashion Show!
We were delighted to attend The Pink Place’s annual fashion show yesterday, helping to raise funds for the incredible work they do supporting local people affected by cancer.
About The Pink Place
The Pink Place supports women affected by cancer, offering wellbeing services, emotional support and a welcoming community at a time when it is needed most.
Throughout the evening, we had the opportunity to speak with attendees both before and after the incredible catwalk, sharing more about The Pink Place initiative and the important work they do within our local community.
The Petra team brought along a beautiful selection of pre-loved jewellery that had been kindly donated to The Pink Place. We carefully curated and presented the pieces for guests to browse and purchase, with all funds raised from the jewellery going directly to the charity.
Many of these pieces may otherwise have been destined for landfill, so it was wonderful to give them a new lease of life while raising money for such an important local cause.
With your donations Petra Jewellery raised a fantastic total of £493 for The Pink Place!
A massive thank you is needed to be shared to Amy and Amber who volunteered their time to help us promote the pre-loved jewellery as much as possible and help take the generous donations in… we wouldn’t have been able to do it without them!
The fashion show itself was incredible! All the models were women who have been supported by the Pink Place, wearing the fabulous clothing from No 1 George Street, as well as some of the Pink Place x Petra Jewellery pre-loved collection!
They blew us all away!
The ladies were accompanied down the runway by local firemen and firewomen and we couldn’t not get them to also pose in front of our pre-loved collection stand!
As a thank you to everyone who attended and helped make the evening such a success, we also gave each guest a voucher for a free Clean, Check & Polish at Petra Jewellery…
…as well as giving each guest chance to enter our prize draw to win a beautiful £300 pink sapphire!

It was a wonderful evening of fashion, fundraising, jewellery and community - and we were so pleased to play a small part in supporting The Pink Place.
A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by our table, purchased a piece of pre-loved jewellery, entered our prize draw or took the time to chat with us.
And, of course, a special thank you to The Pink Place for putting together such a fantastic evening and for the incredible work they continue to do for the local community.
