A Bespoke Eternity Ring for Angela
When David and Angela came across Petra Jewellery online, they had no idea just how personal their bespoke ring journey would become.
With Angela in the south of France and David working in London, Jo brought their ideas together remotely, turning the colours Angela loved into the starting point for a truly individual design.
Through a series of Zoom calls, Jo got to know Angela’s ideas, exploring the colours she loved and the styles that caught her eye.
With that inspiration, Jo began sketching designs and sourcing gemstones, sharing photographs and experimenting with different combinations until the colours came together just right.
The final design
The gemstones were chosen for one simple reason: their colours spoke to Angela.
Once the design was agreed, the sketches became something tangible.
Upstairs in Petra’s in-house workshop, the goldsmith carefully hand-crafted the shape of the ring.
It was then passed to one of our expert setters, who set each gemstone in place, before the ring returned for its final clean and polish.
At last, it was ready to make its way to David, who would take it back to the south of France to give to Angela.
Their story is a lovely example of how bespoke jewellery can be designed together, wherever you are in the world.
