This beautiful oval shape citrine has a beautiful bright yellow colour and lots of sparkle and would look lovely accented with smaller stones in a ring. Citrines are said to represent wealth and success. They have also been linked to increasing self confidence, enhancing a positive mindset and in roman times, it was believed that the stone could protect against evil thoughts.

Citrine’s are the birthstone for November and gifted for the 13th wedding anniversary. The name “citrine” replaced the original name of “yellow quartz” and is now said to have derived from the french word “citron” meaning lemon.
