Topaz is the birthstone for November and the blue topaz is gifted for the 4th wedding anniversary. The name is derived from the Greek “topazion” or “topazios”. Topaz symbolises love and affection. They are said to increase a person’s sweetness and blue topaz in particular is associated with communication, wisdom and truth. It was believed in mythology, topaz was a gemstone of peace and healing.
