Alayne's Afternoon Tea Experience
Alayne and her good friend Kate came to us to go through a beautiful collection of jewellery Alayne had collected over the years. She had some pieces she just wanted to advice on and few pieces that had a lot of sentimental meaning but were sitting in her jewellery box unworn.

Alyane had a lovely emerald cluster ring and sentimental pearl ring that she loved, but envisioned as something she could wear everyday. So whilst they enjoyed an Afternoon Tea both Kate and Alayne discussed design ideas with Abi.
Abi ended up drawing a very unique rubover pearl and emerald pendant, set with the diamonds from the emerald cluster ring in a confetti style flush setting surrounding the two larger stones. Part of the beauty of these style designs is you really can have fun with creating a very organic and free-flowing look to the settings.
Once the design had been finalised, it was time to unset the stones and create Alayne’s pendant. Our talented goldsmith, Behzad melted down some of the unworn gold pieces Alayne wanted to include in her pendant and created something very beautiful.

Once the pendant was created, it was sent to our specialist setter to set the pearl and emerald.
When we handle gemstones that may have sentimental value we want to make sure they are handled with the utmost care and as both emerald and pearls are softer gemstones, they require a specialist setter to ensure they are safely set into your jewellery.
The pendant was set with Alyane’s stones and then after a final clean and polish was ready to collect!
