Home visit to see Sharon

Sharon had a collection of jewellery that was hers and some inherited pieces. She didn't know what to do with as there was such an array. She arranged with us for us to go and see her at her home so we can give her the best advice that we could.

So Mitch and myself went to visit Sharon at her home.

Sharon had a lot of pieces so we spent time discussing her jewellery, the stories she could tell and the memories she had.

We were able to go through everything and sort it out into items to keep, items to use for remodelling into something new and items that may need a repair.

Sharon had some silver and some gold that she wanted to have melted and made into something new for herself so, we discussed a few different options but the idea of two bangles were what she liked the most.

I did a couple of drawings so Sharon could see the designs. She was very happy with the designs.

We spoke about her items and the meanings and memories, she said she said sadly she had lost her mum and some of the jewellery was from her.

so a suggestion was adding ashes to her bangles and she loved the idea as this would make even more sentimental to her.

So Sharon and her daughter came to the shop and melted her gold and silver and added the ashes to her metal.

Once the metals were melted down and the ashes were added, Behzad, our goldsmith set to work making the bangles.

The finished pieces were two beautiful hinged bangles for Sharon to wear.
