Alison's diamond keeper ring
Alison came and saw Jo, one of our designers as she needed a ring to hold her engagement ring in place.
She wanted to have a ring to sit between her wedding and engagement ring, this would mean the engagement ring sat closer to her knuckle to stop the ring moving around.
Jo drew up a couple of different design options for Alison and they settled on a design with the stones set flush into the band.
Jo designed the ring to made in platinum to match Alison’s other ring and also include eight diamonds that she had.
Alison loved the idea, so the ring was made as a plain band and then Jo arranged for Alison to come in and try it on to confirm the layout of her stones.
Alison wanted more diamonds to cover the area of the ring, so we looked at adding a further 10 diamonds that would match her original stones.
So then with the original design of a channel setting and now eighteen diamonds, it was given to our expert setter.
Once the ring was back from the setter, it was time to get Alison in to collect her new keeper ring!
Alison came in to collect with her husband and had a lovely surplise as Petra was in the shop at the time.
