Ash and Hannah
Ash had decided that after a long and happy relationship that he wanted to propose to his girlfriend Hannah.
He came to see our designer Natalie to learn a little bit more about the process of designing an engagement ring.
They started with discussing Hannah’s style and taste, and coming up with a design that Ash felt represented her perfectly.
It had to be elegant and beautiful, and robust so that it can be worn safely every day, but Ash wanted to ensure that the main emphasis was on a stunning quality centre diamond.
Once the design had been finalised, it was then time to choose the perfect diamond.
During his diamond viewing, Ash chose between a range of diamonds ranging in size and all of exceptional quality. After some education on the colours, cuts and clarities, Ash decided on an outstanding centre stone, with a small number of diamonds set into the shoulders to give it extra sparkle.
At this point, we had the design finalised and the diamonds chosen. All that was left was to get to work on making the ring.
We had the ring cast and then hand set and finished by our expert team.
Ash was so happy with the finished ring. He said it was exactly how he had envisioned it.
All that was left to do was to ask the terrifying question!
Luckily he clearly did a good enough job designing this beautiful ring himself - as Hannah said yes!
