Claudine's engagement ring
Tiaan and Claudine were looking to design a special engagement ring for Claudine so they came in to see designer, Abi.
Claudine wanted a pretty solitaire engagement ring but with a bit of a twist, a warm tone diamond set in a warm gold ring. After an initial design consultation they landed on a design of a four claw solitaire ring.
Abi then invited them back in to view a selection of natural warm toned diamonds which included some SI clarity R-Q colour diamonds as well as fancy colour champagne diamond and a warm cognac diamond.
During their Private Gemstone Viewing they looked at the diamond selection against the tone of Claudine’s skin tone and against 18ct and 9ct yellow gold.
After going over the options with Abi they selected on of the beautiful warm colour round brilliant cut diamonds.
Abi drew up their final engagement ring design with their chosen diamond.
Once they were happy it was time to get our fantastic goldsmith Derek to work.
The ring was sent to the assay office for hallmarking, and the diamond set.
Then it was time to get Tiaan in to collect the finished ring…
Then it was time to pop the question…
And she said yes!
