Debbie's remodelled diamond set wedding band
Debbie booked a design appointment with Rosie as she had some yellow gold and a beautiful engagement ring that she didn’t wear.
Her original wedding and engagement rings were made in white gold but she liked the idea of having them remade with her yellow gold.
Her ring had a lot of beautiful, princess cut diamonds of varying sizes.
Debbie wanted to have a new wedding band created, something a little more contemporary with a bit of sparkle so we came up with the idea of flush-setting the 4 largest diamonds and the 4 next largest in an alternating pattern around the ring.
Debbie loved the design so we went ahead and gave the gold to the goldsmith to start work.
We then had to figure out what to do with the six leftover diamonds. Debbie liked the idea of some simple stud earrings, so we drew out some options and landed on the idea of some rubover set ear-climbers.
We had a CAD created for these as they were quite small and delicate.
And here are the finished pieces…
