Gina's sapphire, ruby and diamond ring
Gina had been in to see us before…she had a stunning signet ring made using her gold and some rubies and sapphires…
However, once we had made the signet ring, we still had some gold, as well as a few stones, left over!
So Gina had a design appointment with Rosie to discuss what to do with it all.
Gina knew she wanted a ring and she knew she wanted it to be another statement piece…
We knew we wanted to incorporate sapphires, rubies and diamonds but, after looking at a few of our samples, Gina also asked to incorporate some diamond cuts which are small engraved details that would catch the light!
Gina like the look of the stones being grain set to match her signet ring, but to make it a bit different, we designed the ring with the stones set into a wave with the biggest stones in the centre.
The ring was made by our goldsmith Behzad and the stones were set by one of our expert setters!
To make it even more special…the gold for both this ring and Gina’s signet ring came from Gina’s mum’s eternity ring which she couldn’t wear because it didn’t fit but wanted to keep it close.
The ring really is one of a kind!
