Jo and John
Jo and John had some old gold jewellery that wasn’t being worn.
This included a beautiful yellow gold emerald pin and some other pieces. The plan was to have a pendant and some earrings made to show off the beautiful emeralds.
During the design consultation with our designer, Beth, Jo and John were showed different examples of what could be done with their gold.
Jo fell in love with the disc pendant and when Beth explained the brittle nature of emeralds, they decided on a rubover setting. Jo loved the setting so much she decided to also have a pair of simple rubover studs made with two of her emeralds as well.
The pendant was made by our wonderful goldsmith, as were the settings that the stone were set into.
Jo and John were so happy with the pendant and the earrings and can’t believe that it used to be their pin!
