Pamela's garnet ring restoration
Pamela came to us with a much-loved cluster ring that held years of memories, but it had seen better days. Once set with a red gemstone, her ring was in need of some expert TLC and a fresh burst of colour to bring it back to life.
As always, we started with a personal repair consultation. Pamela met with Abi, one of our Designers, who after an initial chat with Pamela invited her back in to view a selection of gemstones that would be perfect for her cluster ring.
There was some bright rubies and deep red garnets. After a relaxed and thoughtful conversation, Pamela chose a stunning Mozambique garnet with a rich red hue that perfectly suited the ring’s original character while giving it a whole new vibrance.
With the gemstone chosen, it was over to our in-house goldsmith Behzad . He rebuilt the delicate claws that once held the centre stone and expertly set the new garnet in place with meticulous care. All in house.
The result? A sparkling transformation that honours the past while making the ring ready for many more years of wear.
“Delighted with the helpful advice and the repair work carried out. Many thanks!”
