Sabine's concave memorial ring.

Sabine came back in to see Jo as she had recently had her wedding rings made into a pendant and this time she wanted a ring made in memory of her late husband.

She wanted to use the diamonds from a ring she had and incorporate some gold she had too.

She preferred white metal more so Jo designed a wide concave ring using her gold and diamonds, setting them into platinum.

The concave design was to make the ring in platinum using sixteen diamonds, setting them into Sabine’s gold to give a contrast. we also added a hammered band of gold going around the centre of the ring.

The yellow gold was to include Sabine’s late husband’s ashes, so we invited her into our on-site workshop to do this and be a part of this important step.

Behzad, our goldsmith, melted the gold and helped Sabine so she could then place the ashes into the molten metal.

Once the gold had the ashes added Sabine got to hold it before it was made into the band for the concave ring.

Once the diamonds were set and the ring was finished it was time to let Sabine know her ring was ready for her.

I love it its even more than I thought it would be and it is something I will wear every day.
