Sarah's trilogy engagement ring
Stephen got in touch with the Petra team to get an engagement ring designed and made to propose to his girlfriend Sarah.
He came in and had a Design Appointment with Rosie. He had a pretty good idea of what he wanted which was a trilogy ring set with diamonds in a white metal.
The original CAD
Initially we discussed a ring set with three round diamonds and looked at various sizes to see what would look best together.
Rosie talked through the 4Cs with Stephen so that he knew which qualities were most important for him and could pick out the diamonds that he liked the most.
But then Sarah dropped a hint about oval diamonds…so we made a quick pivot and got in an oval diamond to set into the centre and altered the design…
Stephen was thrilled with the final design so we got started!
The ring was cast by our incredible casting workshop then the diamonds were given to the setter to be set by hand. Then the ring just needed a final clean and polish and it was ready…

Stephen came to collect the ring and then it was time to pop the question…she of course said yes!
