A Meaningful Eternity Ring, Designed Around Family
Having been through many personal challenges over the last few years, our customer wanted to create something deeply meaningful - an eternity ring that represented family, love and everything that had brought her to this point… and so she came to see our expert designer Jo to discuss ideas…
The inspiration came from the women in her family. Her grandmother had an eternity ring with hearts running through the design, while both her mother’s engagement ring and her own engagement ring featured a heart-shaped solitaire. It felt only right that her eternity ring should carry that same heart motif forward.

When she came to Petra, she had a picture of a design she liked and an idea in her head of what she wanted. Working closely with Jo, that vision was developed into a bespoke design, with the final piece brought to life through CAD before being cast.
“When discussing with Jo the vision I had in my head with a picture of something I liked, Jo came up with a beautiful design, but I found it hard to have the vision of what it would actually look like.”
Seeing the CAD design helped bring the idea to life, before the piece was cast and finished by our workshop team.
And the finished ring was everything she had hoped for.
“Oh, my goodness, I was blown away with the end result as my vision was captured perfectly. I cannot stop staring at it as it sparkles so much.”
More than just a beautiful piece of jewellery, the ring carries a story that connects generations - from her grandmother’s ring, to her mother’s engagement ring, to her own, and now this new chapter.
