Michele got in touch with the Petra Team during lockdown to discuss remodelling a beautiful emerald and diamond ring her husband had gifted her when her children were born.
Michele loved her emerald ring but due to the delicate nature of her ring she didn’t wear it that often.
Michele wanted to use the emerald and diamonds to create a more modern style ring that she would be comfortable wearing every day and on special occasions.
Michele’s initial remote design appointment was with our designer Beth. During her design appointment Beth showed Michele different example of more contemporary halo rings and Michele fell in love with one of our sapphire and diamond halo rings.
With this in mind Beth went away and put together some designs based on the sample rings Michele liked and sent them over to Michele.
Beth played around with the orientation of the centre stone and asked our CAD team to put together a couple of design, one with the emerald set ‘down the finger’ and one with the emerald set ‘across the finger’.
Once Michele had seen the Cad designs she fell in love with the idea of having the emerald set across her finger.
Once the design had been finalised, Michele’s emerald and diamonds were sent to out CAD team for them to get to work.
Beth was over the moon with the finished ring and was very excited for Michele to see it. We love being able to take someone jewellery and remodel it into something totally different.
