Alison’s eternity ring
When Alison and Neil visited Petra Jewellery, they brought with them two sentimental rings, Alison’s original solitaire and a stone-set band. She already had a vision in mind: to remodel these pieces into a unique eternity ring.
Abi, one of our designers, welcomed them in and spent time exploring ideas with Alison. Using some creative flair, Abi sketched an elegant infinity-style design that could incorporate all of Alison’s diamonds.
As it turned out, the diamonds in her original band were larger than expected, which is always a lovely surprise! This meant we could explore a slightly wider design and with Alison’s input, the final concept came together beautifully, balancing sparkle with sentiment.
Once Alison gave the go-ahead, it was time for our talented onsite goldsmith, Behzad, to begin crafting the piece using her own gold.
Before any diamonds were set or the ring was hallmarked, we invited Alison in for a ‘size test’ to make sure the new ring would be as comfortable for her, once happy with the way the ring was sitting it was back to Behzad, who meticulously set each of Alison’s diamonds by hand in our workshop.

After a final polish and a professional clean, the result was simply incredible.

With the ring completed, it was time to get Alison and Neil in to collect!
And she loved her new eternity ring!
