Heather's shaped wedding ring
Heather and her partner, Mike, came in to Petra Jewellery to enjoy an Afternoon Tea Design Experience.
Heather had a collection of jewellery that had been passed down to her by her mother and grandparents and wanted to discuss using pieces to make her wedding band more special.
We looked through Heather’s pieces to decide what would be best to use to create an 18ct band to sit next to her engagement ring. She decided that it would mean the most to her to have her grandmother’s wedding band and a pair of earrings melted together to create her ring.
We then looked at designs of wedding bands. Heather’s engagement ring is a beautiful emerald ring that is also quite low set so we looked through different shaped bands.
Heather tried on a wishbone shape with her engagement ring which really complimented the floral design of her settings.
We drew out the design and added a few details such as the profile and a personal engraving and then the design was perfect.
Then it was time for Behzad to get making!
The finished ring is beautiful and sits perfectly with Heather’s stunning engagement ring.
