Kevin's memorial piece
Beth came to see our designer, Jo as she wanted something special made for her husband’s birthday.
She also wanted to incorporate his late father’s ashes somehow.
This was to make a very special gift for Kevin. Jo discussed lots of ideas and Beth decided that a torque bangle would be lovely idea with a hammered finish and engraving inside.
As this was a surprise present for Kevin, we invited the family in so that Kevin could add his father’s ashes to silver, but he still didn’t know what jewellery would be made for him.
Kevin melted some silver in our workshop and added the ashes, after he was shown how to do this by our goldsmith Behzad.
Once the silver was cooled Kevin handed it over to Behzad so he could finish Kevin’s birthday surprise!
Once the bangle was made, hallmarked and engraved, Beth came in to collect in time for Kevin’s birthday.
Kevin was very happy with the lovely gift and the sentiment behind it.

When Clare visited Petra Jewellery, she brought with her a cherished sapphire and diamond cluster ring in yellow gold. While the ring held deep sentimental value, she longed for a modern re-imagining, something that would celebrate the original ring whilst better reflecting her personal style.
Beverley had a selection of unworn gold jewellery that she was looking to transform into something brand new. She had a unusual triangle cut diamond ring that she wanted to use as inspiration for a quirky pendant design.
Suzanne had a beautiful engagement ring that she had been wearing for years but had seen a design that she had fell completely in love with…
Olwen wanted to use her gold and diamonds to make a new unique dress ring with satin finish.
