Mandy's surprise birthday necklace
Richard, Mandy’s husband came to see one of our designers, Jo. To have a bespoke necklace designed.
The necklace was to incorporate the gold and stones that they had and was designed to bring together the gold, garnets and opals from their existing pieces into something that Mandy could wear and love forever.
Together Richard and Jo looked different style chain designs that would complement the style and finally decided on a spiga chain.
Behzad the goldsmith, melted down the gold to form a V shape and then drilled out the holes and made the setting to set the stones in.
Once the V was made we then set the garnets and opals before attaching the chain.
Richard was really pleased ands so excited to have the necklace in time for Mandy’s birthday with her birth stone as well made it extra special.
