Michelle's black diamond butterfly earrings
Michelle came in to see Abi to have a pair of unique earrings designed, she loved the symbolism of butterflies so wanted something she could wear day-to-day and for occasions.
She had a collection of white gold and diamond jewellery she wanted to use for her new earrings, including a nice selection of small black diamonds.
Abi worked with Michelle to draw up a pair of dangle style earrings set with her stones. Made to match an existing pendant Michelle had.
Once Michelle was happy with the design, Abi sent the design to our fantastic CAD team to have the earrings rendered in 3D.
Michelle loved the earrings, but at the time wasn’t quite ready to go ahead. She kept in touch, and when she was ready she let Abi know it was time to turn her earrings into reality.
Abi was very excited Michelle was ready to go ahead, she’d been looking forward to seeing the earrings fully realised and she got the CAD workshop to work using Michelles gold and stones to create her new earrings.
And the final piece was a stunning pair of stone-set earrings.
“This design journey has been one of my favourites, Michelle and her Mum first came in to see me when I had started designing at Petra so this design has always been special to me. Michelle is a beautiful individual and I am beyond delighted that she gets to wear and enjoy such a special piece of jewellery”
