Barry's charm bracelet
Barry recently visited Sarah to commission a meaningful new addition to his daughter, Mandy’s, Petra charm bracelet, a piece he originally had made a few years ago.
This bracelet holds deep significance, as it represents their daughters, whom they very sadly lost. It was Sarah’s first design commission, and she was determined to create something special for Barry, a beautiful tribute to his late daughters and a lasting keepsake for Mandy to cherish.
Barry shared with Sarah that one of his late daughter’s was called Teresa, affectionately known as ‘Trees’. He had the beautiful idea of creating a ‘T’ charm to add to the bracelet as a subtle tribute to her special nickname. Sarah sketched a design that Barry loved, and she asked Behzad to begin crafting it.
Once Behzad had carefully cut the tree-shaped design from silver, he delicately filed and softened the edges before we sent it to our trusted engravers to add the engraved ‘T’. The result was great, exactly as Sarah had envisioned.
After a final clean and polish, the charm was ready for Barry to collect.
He was absolutely delighted with the result and, while in the showroom, commissioned another charm to represent his daughter who is still with them, a beautiful way to complete the bracelet’s story.
It was a truly special first design experience for Sarah, and it means so much to her to have created something so meaningful for Barry and his family.
