Caroline’s bubble pendant
Caroline came to us with a collection of jewellery she no longer wore but wanted to transform into something special. She booked an appointment with Jo, one of our designers, to explore how we could give her pieces a new lease of life.
After laying out her jewellery and discussing what mattered most to her, Jo sketched a contemporary bubble style pendant that would use Caroline’s own gold and diamonds. Caroline loved the idea, and once the design was confirmed it was time to bring it to life.
Our goldsmith Behzad carefully melted down her gold and hand made a series of rubover collets ready for her diamonds to be set.
When the pendant was complete it was sent to the London Assay Office for hallmarking before returning to our expert setter Rob, who meticulously set each diamond in place.
After a final clean and polish, the finished pendant was ready for Caroline to collect.
She was thrilled with her new piece, a modern pendant full of sentiment that she can enjoy wearing every day.
