Duncan and Holly's remodelled diamond trilogy

Duncan came in for a design appointment with Rosie because he was getting ready to pop the question.

He had been passed on a diamond trilogy set in platinum that belonged to his grandmother. He knew Holly liked the ring, but wasn’t so keen on the colour of the metal.

With this in mind, he decided to recreate the ring to make it perfect for Holly.

Duncan decided he wanted the new ring to be as similar as possible to the original, but more durable and in yellow gold with white gold settings to make the diamonds pop.

So, our goldsmith, Behzad, unset the diamonds and gave them a clean and we drew up a design for the new ring. The design needed to be delicate and beautiful to really show off the diamonds.

The design was then sent to our amazing CAD team for the ring to be cast. They produced a 3D render of the ring for Duncan to see, which really helped him visualise the finished ring, you can see it below…

Duncan loved the design and decided to go ahead and have the ring made!

The diamonds were given to our workshop and the team got to work!

The finished ring is exactly what Duncan visualised.

Although the colour has changed, the integrity of the ring has been maintained and the diamonds reused so that the ring is kept in the family for another generation!
