Ellie's engagement ring
When George came to see us, he was looking to design the perfect engagement ring for Ellie. He had done his homework and already had a clear vision in mind, but he wanted a little expert guidance to bring it to life.
During his design appointment with Jo, they explored a range of ideas, drawing inspiration from our sample rings and previous bespoke designs.
After a relaxed and creative discussion, they settled on a timeless oval-cut diamond as the centrepiece, complemented by delicate shoulder-set sapphires for an extra touch of sparkle.
The design was then handed to our trusted casting workshop, who created a precise 3D render of the ring before bringing it to life. This step helps showcase exactly what the ring will look like from every angle.
George later returned for a private Gemstone Viewing Experience, where he hand-selected Ellie’s diamond, a stunning 0.70 carat D-colour oval diamond.
Jo guided him through the process, explaining the 4 Cs (cut, colour, clarity, and carat) so he could choose with confidence, knowing Ellie’s ring would have that extra personal touch.
Once the design was approved, our workshop got to work. Every detail was crafted with care, ensuring the finished piece was every bit as special as the story behind it.
And when George finally asked the big question…
…she said yes!
