Sharon's two-tone twist ring
When Sharon came to see us, she was looking to remodel her existing jewellery into a piece she could truly enjoy wearing every day.
She sat down with our designer, Jo, to explore some ideas. Together, they discussed what Sharon loved, how she liked to wear her jewellery, and what would make this new piece meaningful for her.
After some thoughtful sketching, Jo created a beautiful design for a two-tone twisted solitaire ring, reusing Sharon’s own gold and diamond. It was the perfect way to blend sentimental value with something fresh and contemporary.
Once Sharon was happy with the design, her gold and diamond were given on to our talented goldsmith, Behzad, to begin brining her new ring to life.

In the workshop, Behzad carefully melted down Sharon’s metal to form both the white and yellow gold wires that create the elegant twisted band. Once the goldsmithing was complete, he meticulously set her oval diamond into a white rubover setting.
After a hallmark from the London Assay Office and a final polish, Sharon’s brand-new ring was ready for collection.

The finished design was a rubover-set, two-tone twist ring, beautifully combining all of Sharon’s original gold and her oval diamond into one stunning piece.
