Hayley
Hayley and her husband Alex got in touch with the Petra team during lock down to enquire about having a special everyday wear ring made for Hayley. Hayley was very open to different design options but one thing Hayley was very certain on was that she wanted a blush pink stone to be the main focal point of the ring.
Hayley’s initial appointment was with our designer Beth via zoom. During her remote design appointment Beth showed Hayley and Alex different examples of single stone rings and from this Beth was able to take different elements from each of the rings to combine together to help put together different design options. Initially Hayley loved the idea of going for a round stone and when Beth held up one of her stencils Alex picked up on a trillion shaped and Hayley decided to go for something completely unique instead!
Once the shape of the stone had been decided, Beth was able to go away and put together different designs to send to Hayley and Alex. They instantly fell in love with a split shoulder design Beth had come up with.
Once the design was chosen, Beth got in touch with our Gemstone dealer to send us a selection of blush pink trillion cut stones. He sent us a selection of morganites that came in a range of blush colours from peach to nude pink.
Once the stones had arrived Beth contacted Hayley and Alex and they came into the shop to view the stones. Hayley instantly fell in love with a beautiful nude pink morganite which was to be set into a platinum setting.
Once the stone has been chosen the design was then given to our in-house goldsmith Behzad.
Behzad started by forming the split shank and then he created the bespoke setting in which the stone would sit.
Once Behzad has created the mount of Hayley’s ring, it was then sent to our setter for him to set in the morganite.
Following a final clean and polish Hayley and Alex were contacted and it was not surprised Hayley was very excited to come and collect her ring
Upon collection Hayley and Alex were left speechless by the finished ring and everyone got a bit emotional.
