Kim’s aquamarine ring
Kim had gifted two of her sons bespoke signet rings for their 18th and 21st birthdays, and it was time for her youngest son Jett to have his signet ring created. The ring was made to match the two existing signet rings with a stunning London blue checkerboard cut topaz. Each of the boys had an engraving to symbolise their South African and New Zealand heritage. Jett chose a giraffe and a silver fern leaf.
Kim also wanted a unique ring for herself, and had her heart set on a unique aquamarine ring. After a chat with Rosie, she came back in to have a look at a hand selected collection of aquamarines and ended up choosing a gorgeous cushion shape stone.
Rosie then drew up a beautiful drawing featuring Kim’s chosen stone in a split claw setting, with Kim’s approval it was time to get making.
The ring was handmade by our wonderful goldsmith Derek, then carefully set and polished and with that the ring was ready to collect!
