Sandra's hinge bangle
Sandra came in for a private gemstone viewing, as she and a friend wanted to know more about Aquamarines.
They had a wonderful time looking at our selection of stones and discussing what they could have made.
Sandra chose some lovely pear cut aquamarines to have made into earrings.
Sandra also had a lovely sapphire and diamond bracelet from her late husband that she brought to show and wanted to transfer it into a new piece of wrist wear that she could wear all the time, as it was so sentimental to her.
During the appointment Jo drew a hinge bangle that would incorporate the original look of the Sandra’s bracelet.
Once the design was agreed, then our goldsmith, Behzad was able to start to create the bangle in 18ct yellow gold.
Once Behzad had finished creating the bangle, Jo invited Sandra in to test the size and make sure she was happy with the fit.
The bangle was then sent for hallmarking and given to our talented setter, Darren who set the diamonds and sapphires in a setting that reflected the original bracelet design.
The bangle had a final polish before inviting Sandra in to collect her beautiful finished piece.
